Paul Bamba’s journey from the foster care system of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, to the unforgiving streets of New York City, forged an unbreakable spirit within him. Joining the Marine Corps at 17, he learned discipline and resilience through combat deployments in Iraq. After returning to civilian life and facing homelessness, Paul discovered the transformative power of boxing, which became his path to redemption. In 2018, he founded Trifecta Strong to help others transform their lives through physical and mental strength. Turning professional in 2020, Paul’s current record of 18 wins, 3 losses, and 17 knockouts speaks to his dedication and perseverance, making his story a testament to triumph over adversity and an inspiration to many.
In the beginning of 2024, Paul wanted to test himself while making an impact on boxing by beating Mike Tyson’s record of 13 fights with 13 wins in 1986 which brought Tyson from novice to World Champion. Paul raised the bar and challenged himself to 14 fights by the end of 2024.
Since January, Paul has fought 13 times with 13 wins, coming by way of knockout. He is ranked #12 in the world by the WBA and is the current:
NABA Silver Cruiserweight Champion
WBA Federcentro Cruiserweight Champion
WBA Fedecaribe Cruiserweight Champion
NBA Intercontinental Cruiserweight Champion
